Airline Announcement

🎉We’re so pleased that Emerald Airlines will be increasing frequency 🎉

Emerald Airlines, the exclusive operator of Aer Lingus Regional network, announces it will increase its flight frequencies between the Isle of Man and Dublin, by introducing a new double-daily service, commencing 26th March.

In-line with rising customer demand, the carrier will now operate additional morning flights on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays & Sundays, along with a new Saturday flight.

These new flights enable seamless connections onto the Aer Lingus transatlantic network via Dublin to destinations including New York, JFK, with a massive bonus being that passengers can pre-clear US Immigration and Customs at Dublin before boarding, saving time on arrival in the States.

Commenting on the announcement, Ciarán Smith, Head of Commercial at Emerald Airlines said: “We are fully committed to improving connectivity from the Isle of Man and beyond. Regional connectivity is a key part in our wider strategy at Emerald Airlines, and so we are delighted to be increasing our flight frequencies, with convenient and cost effective options for travel between the Isle of Man and Ireland.

By working closely with our counterparts in the airport and wider Isle of Man government, we are now in a position to further increase the amount of flights we operate from the Isle of Man with over 20,000 additional seats now on offer. We expect to see significant interest locally in these flights, and look forward to continuing to grow our services in the future.”

Earlier this week, the airline released its Summer 2023 schedule, with a total of 23 routes, including 13 from Dublin and 10 from Belfast. Seeing over 1.5 million seats on sale this Summer, the carrier continues to rapidly increase its frequencies and services across the Aer Lingus Regional route network.

Gary Cobb, Airport Director said “We are delighted to see this important and strategic route increase in frequency. Not only will this be an advantage to customers travelling to Dublin but also has the added bonus of connections onto the US and other destinations, which in turn will bring huge benefits to residents, business and visitors wishing to explore our unique Island.”

Emerald Airlines operates Aer Lingus Regional flights from Dublin and Belfast City Airport and is now flying 23 routes and counting.
